Area Rug Cleaning
Your area rugs act as filters to collect harmful dust, dust mites and bacteria. These pollutants can cause
everything from chronic fatigue to headaches. Other ailments attributed to indoor air pollution include
watery eyes, frequent colds, flu, sore throats, stuffy noses, allergies, lack of energy and asthma.
Professional facility cleaning (not in home cleaning) solves this problem, creating continuously healthy and
beautiful rugs in your home. Proper cleaning of your rug and its fringes requires in plant removal of loose
soil particulates before washing to prevent damage.
The Area Rug Cleaning Process:
- Thorough inspection ~ once it arrives at our facility we carefully inspect the rug, note the
color, type, size and pre-existing conditions, such as stains and problems that might need
repair.
- Dusting ~ next the rug is sent to be dusted with our special dusting equipment which removes
as much as 90% of the loose soil particulate in the rug. Vacuuming alone is not sufficient,
therefore this is the most important part of the process.
- The rug is then submerged in water and a specially designed cleaning solution. With the
paddlewheel action of our large washtub, rugs swim simulating the centuries old technique of
hand washing.
- After rinsing, the rug is placed in our extractor which spins at very high speed, removing 95%
of the water. This expedites the drying process.
- The rug is hung vertically so that the front and back can dry quickly in a temperature and
humidity controlled environment.
- Final inspection and grooming~ the rug is inspected and once it has passed inspection, the
fringes are combed and the pile of the rug is groomed, vacuumed and wrapped for delivery
back to you. If the inspector is not happy with the rug, he may decide to send the rug back to
be re-cleaned and the entire cleaning process is repeated.
Protect your investment and guarantee that you get professionally cleaned carpets every
time.
